— On travel

There is a kind of journey that asks nothing of you, and gives back everything.

Joya Journeys plans the entire arc of your time away. The villa, the table by the water, the boat at golden hour. Your only job is to be there. Designed for people who deserve to travel beautifully, and to actually enjoy it.

A few journeys we love.

From the founder

I started Joya for the trips where the who is the point.

There are trips you take with your family. With friends who've become family. With the women you can't live without. With the men you go on retreat with each year. 50ths and 70ths, anniversaries, reunions, weeks-away-from-life.

Joya is for those trips. The ones where the people are the point, and the space and the details exist to make room for them. My goal is to give that to others, the way I'd want it for myself.

Four days before spring break, we changed our minds from Maui to Arizona. Nothing was planned. Seema put it together, including the hotel we'd been told was full.
Alisa · Arizona
Seema had planned Zion many times before, so she came with ideas. But every detail felt built around our family. The kids want to come back next year.
